    • Ready-To-Go White Label Skin Care Development is perfect for speed-to-market with pre-formulated products.
    • Semi-Custom Skin Care Development allows for the freedom to personalize existing formulations with fragrance, color, or additives.
    • Custom Private Label Skin Care Development is a fully tailored experience for developing unique, one-of-a-kind products.

Each option is designed to cater to a variety of needs, from new brands seeking rapid market entry to established brands looking for unique, personalized formulations.

Timelines and Process

10. How long will it take to produce my products?

Timelines vary based on the type of development you choose:

  • Ready-To-Go White Label Skin Care: Approximately 8 weeks.
  • Semi-Custom Skin Care: 10-12 weeks post-approval.
  • Custom Skin Care: 8-10 weeks with client-supplied packaging or 12-16 weeks with turnkey packaging.

11. What is the process for testing and compliance?

Stability testing is mandatory and takes about 3 months to ensure product integrity over its shelf life. We also ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 22716, and other rigorous cosmetic industry standards.

12. What happens if revisions are required during the development process?

For Custom Development, each requested R&D revision typically requires an additional 2-3 weeks. Clear communication with your Project Manager will help keep the process smooth.

Costs and Budget

13. Beauty product development: What fees are associated with development?

  • Ready-To-Go White Label: No development fees.
  • Semi-Custom: $2,500 per product.
  • Custom Manufactured Products: $10,000 per product.

14. Are there minimum order quantities (MOQs)?

Yes, MOQs depend on the development type:

  • Ready-To-Go: 1,000 pieces
  • Semi-Custom: 2,500 pieces
  • Custom Development: 5,000 pieces

15. How can I manage costs during product development?

Discuss your budget early with our team to explore cost-effective options for packaging and ingredients. Adjustments later in the process may increase costs and extend timelines.

Communication and Support

16. Who will be my main point of contact?

Your assigned Project Manager (PM) is your go-to person for all project-related inquiries. They coordinate with internal departments and streamline communication for you. You can reach your PM at ClientCare@BrandLabsUSA.com.

17. How will I receive updates on my project?

    • Ready-To-Go and Semi-Custom clients receive updates as needed.
    • Custom Development clients are scheduled for bi-weekly update calls, typically on Tuesdays.

Additionally, monthly Open Order Reports (OORs) will be provided for all ongoing projects.

Orders and Payments

18. How do I place an order?

Submit your purchase orders (POs) via Orders@BrandLabsUSA.com. Once confirmed, Accounting will email you the PO acknowledgement & acceptance.

19. What are your payment terms?

A 50% deposit is required for new projects, with the balance due before shipment.

Repeat orders are Net 10 for client-supplied skin care packaging or require a 20% deposit for turnkey orders, with the balance due Net 10.

Packaging and Logistics

20. Can I store packaging or product components with you?

Yes, we offer warehousing options. After 90 days, storage fees of $75 per pallet per month apply unless
there is a pending PO.

21. What do I need to know about inbound and outbound shipping?

For all inbound freight, coordinate dates with your Project Manager and ensure packing slips and BOLs are submitted in advance.

For outbound freight, provide at least 1 business day’s notice and submit your BOL before truck arrival.

If shipping to Amazon, other retailers, or 3PLs via UPS, email the shipping labels in PDF format or overnight printed labels to the Project Manager at clientcare@brandlabsusa.com.
